Funky Poetic Bootlegs began on a Yamaha MTX1 and a TASCAM MF-Po1 4-track cassette recorder - a machine acquired in the early years of writing and recording between 1989 and 2010. What started as necessity became philosophy: commit early, preserve feel, and let limitation shape decisions.

This Deluxe Bundle brings together the original album, newly remastered for clarity and preservation, along with eight bonus recordings from the same period. Some were originally intended for the album. Others are alternate mixes that retain the spirit of the original cassette versions. Together they form a complete document of that creative stretch.

The remaster does not reinvent the work. It restores what was already present - tape texture, room tone, and first take energy - allowing the recordings to translate more faithfully across listening environments.
